Some great and diverse acts have performed in the Twin Cities this fall: Charlie Marks, Keep for Cheap, Tom Odell and Matt Hannah.

Who: Charlie Marks, a singer-songwriter and old-time musician from Nevada
Genre: Traditional folk

Why bother? He designed his album artwork and recorded his album by himself. His raw energy and words each perform a message that moves every audience.

Who: Keep for Cheap
Genre: Folk, Indie rock Band
Where: Underground Music Cafe 408 3rd Ave N Minneapolis
When: Oct. 10
Why bother? A 5 member band from Minneapolis makes music that is upbeat and allows you to dance like a kid again.

Who: Thomas Peter Odell, an English singer-songwriter
Genre: Indie Pop, Alternative folk
Where: First Avenue 701 1st Ave N Minneapolis, MN 55403
When: Oct. 18
Why bother? Tom Odell is one of the most successful British artists of the 20th century. His live performances are like no other: raw, powerful and unique.

Who: Matt Hannah, American singer-songwriter
Genre: Folk
Where: Off the Rails 620 S 4th St Minneapolis, MN 55415
When: Oct. 13
Why bother? Matt is a Minneapolis based artist who has taught guitar and songwriting for 16 years. His performances showcase his love for music but also pulls you in and leaves the audience with a new-found connection to music.
