As the crisp breeze sweeps in and the leaves change, a new jacket is essential for fall. Every student should have the opportunity to stay warm and stylish on a budget. Whether you are going to a football game, going out, or walking to class, these jackets can be an extremely versatile addition to your look.
Denim jacket. Jean jackets not only double as warmth but pair well with just about anything. Running late to class? Dress up a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt with an oversized denim jacket. Gameday? Pair your denim jacket with a mini denim skirt, a gopher crewneck, and some platform sneakers. Denim can be pricey, but here are two affordable options to check out. At H&M and Forever21, you can find denim jackets for as low as $18. They range from blue to black denim, and tight to oversized.
Puffer coat. A puffer coat is a great option to dress up or down. A puffer coat looks great with a sweater, jeans, and a pair of boots, or with a matching lounge set. Amazon offers many reasonable puffer coats, such as this one, all under $50. You can also find reasonably-priced puffer coats at Target.
Bomber jacket. Leather or quilted bombers add textured detail to an outfit. If you’re going out, throw on a leather bomber jacket. Bomber jackets pair nicely with straight-leg jeans and tight long-sleeve shirts. Zara offers a variety of bomber jackets for many reasonable prices. BooHoo also has a rainbow selection of bomber jackets as low as $18.
