Finding the Perfect Pair of Jeans can be a challenge, but Madewell makes it easy… and affordable.

Every college girl needs the perfect pair of jeans – those ones that hug you in all the right places, don’t gape, meet your leg flawlessly at the ankle, and are wearable for any occasion, from a frat party to your 8 a.m, a job interview or dinner with your grandparents.
Madewell Denim is as good as it comes for many of us. The jeans are soft, but sculpting, and the brand has an incredible size range that fits most body types.
There’s just one hurdle in this pursuit: Cost. The jeans can be pricey, averaging at about $130 per pair, according to the Madewell website.
Now Madewell has a solution: The company will give every customer $20 off any pair of denim if they bring in an old pair of jeans. It doesn’t matter if it’s a $2 pair from your local thrift store, or a pair you had in eighth grade that barely reaches your knees.
Not only will they give you a discount on your new denim, the company will donate your old jeans to the Cotton Blue Jeans Go Green Program, which makes housing insulation out of recycled denim, according to Molly Altier, Madewell Store Associate and University of Minnesota junior.
“I love investing in a smaller, timeless wardrobe of quality pieces, and Madewell jeans are an investment I always feel confident about. I love the saying ‘you are not supposed to fit into clothes, clothes are supposed to fit you,’ and I think that perfectly describes how I feel when I’m in Madewell jeans,” says Altier.
The next time you are tearing your room apart because none of your jeans are the perfect fit, remember the Madewell Denim Program, which allows for the dream pair of jeans with a discount. Flattering and reliable, versatile and comfortable, your Madewell jeans will be your go-to pant for every occasion.
